Process: Dark, uneasy, and slightly contaminated. These are several moods that could be used to describe the overall feeling of Dehaney's imagery. Constructivist architecture, industrial ruins, painted dumpsters, old technology, and machinery are themes that often inspire much of his imagery. Portraiture within urban environments is analyzed with latent information being presented to the viewer in a somewhat disconnected manner. The imagery that Dehaney cultivates is often done so with the initial idea of analysis but at the same time reveals obscure references. The subjects themselves are usually detached from their own environment. Latent connotations are often all that is left for the audience to react to. In his series "Murals" Dehany's photographs may appear to record human factors within a guarded world. To him the term graffiti brings to mind personal imagery, much of which just happens to be within an urban environment. Ever changing ideas and influences, environments which may shape the outcome of the images... “I find the idea of temporary imagery that can never be recreated uneasy and somewhat affecting. That's probably what draws me towards them. They're not necessarily meant to last forever, but just to think, how many layers of paint hide so many here and now's.” For Dehaney rendering a contaminated moment is one step closer to preserving visual information that he feels may be in danger of becoming second hand information in the future.

This is an awesome design. Myself, being deadly allergic to bee's and owning a 512mb shuffle, would buy one of these for sure if they are produced.
