Money matters

Money matters

Providing your artwork for Shufflesome stickers gives you an opportunity to earn income. By working with me, you choose a successful process of producing and selling stickers made for iPod shuffles.

You're not here for the money?

You can waive your right to receive a share of revenues, but i encourage to submit your design only if it is meaningful to you. Shufflesome.com is not an online gallery for graphics, but a showcase of actual products. A design that you could imagine to actually finance and produce yourself, is the design i would like to see.

Which option is right for you?

You don't have to make a choice now. You can start designing first, and when you see your finished design, the answer will be found.

Option 1 (Make profit, resell)

For people with business acumen, i provide the freedom to set your own price and to act on your own sense of your design's worth, independent of my opinion. Given certain limits, you can produce what you want and resell your stickers at shufflesome.com or anywhere else.

Compared to earning royalties, any profit you make per sticker sold, is higher. To plan how many designs you want to make and how many stickers to produce of each, please request the price list after you have signed up.

Option 2 (Earn royalties)

I am offering to license your artwork for the particular purpose of producing Shufflesome stickers. I select designs that i deem persuasive. This business model allows you to earn royalties.

Royalty amount: 17% of net revenue

Example: Selling 20 Shufflesome stickers with your design at 4,03 EUR (net of VAT), generates 13.70 EUR income for you (4,03 EUR x 0,17 x 20).

Example: If someone buys your designs for resale at a 25% discount, you would earn 0,51 EUR per sticker outfit sold (=0,75 * 4,03 EUR * 0,17). Likewise, if prices are reduced, the royalties will be proportionally lower.

Of course, the 17% royalty rate will apply to sales in both EUR currency and in US dollars.

  • You earn royalties from sales via shufflesome.com.
  • You earn royalties from sales via any other shops and venues.
  • You earn royalties from sales to resellers.

Option 3 (Buy-out)

I am not primarily disposed to pay a onetime fee for your artwork. I prefer to work with artists who are willing to be financially rewarded in accord with sales (Option 1 or Option 2). However if I really like some of your work and a buy-out makes more sense to you, quote me a fee and I'll see how deep my pockets run.
